The Beach House is a gold coast gem that overlooks the ocean and once housed the stars of Hollywood’s golden era. Past readers include Camille T. Cecilia Woloch is the author of five collections of poems, most recently Carpathia, from BOA Editions Ltd. She is the recipient of a 2011 NEA fellowship and is currently a lecturer in the creative writing program at the University of Southern California, as well as the founding director of The Paris Poetry Workshop. She spends a part of each year traveling, and in recent years has divided her time between Los Angeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Shepherdsville, Kentucky; Paris, France; and a small village in the Carpathian mountains of southeastern Poland.

Eloise Klein Healy is the author of six previous books of poetry and three spoken word recordings. She was the founding chair of the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Antioch University Los Angeles where she is Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing Emerita. Healy directed the Women’s Studies Program at California State University Northridge and taught in the Feminist Studio Workshop at The Woman’s Building in Los Angeles. She is the founding editor of Arktoi Books, an imprint of Red Hen Press specializing in the work of lesbian authors. A Wild Surmise: New & Selected Poems & Recordings is her seventh book of poems

Nathalie Handal is an award-winning poet, playwright, and editor. She is the author of three collections of poems, most recently, Poet in Andalucía (University of Pittsburgh Press, Spring 2012). Alice Walker lauds Handal’s work as “poems of depth and weight and the sorrowing song of longing and resolve.” She is a Lannan Foundation Fellow, a Fundación Araguaney Fellow, recipient of the Alejo Zuloaga Order in Literature 2011, the AE Ventures Fellowship, an Honored Finalist for the 2009 Gift of Freedom Award, and was shortlisted for New London Writers Awards and The Arts Council of England Writers Awards.
